i met my good friend josh i think around 2006 when myspace was still heavily in use. i cruised passed his profile one day and thought that he was looker, but not just a looker, but a sensitive and thoughtful one. i proceeded to myspace stalk him for a while and noticed that we had a lot in common like music. then one day i added him, said "hi" and he added me back. we got to chatting and would write long letters back and forth about life, love, wisdom, spirituality, music, travel,etc. a relationship slowly formed and we decided to meet at the famed Pullayup Fair to watch the Beach boys play. I was so nervous because i had never really been on a blind date before and i could tell that he felt the same. but we hit it off really well and had a great time hanging out and chatting, and what followed was a spring time of trips up and down the coast for me to visit him.

back then josh was just another fledgling skateboarder trying his best to make it in the business, but always with a hint of detachment. a natural, josh was dedicated and loved skating as he still does to this day which has paid off with multiple high profile sponsors, videos, and trips around the world. sadly our short lived romance ended because i had moved to far away to make the trip to see him anymore, and he was working and skating a lot of the time in Seatlle. but we kept on good terms and still after almost 5 years we are deeply fond of each other and share our deepest thoughts through long and enlightening emails.

BUT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! i finally got him to agree to a skype session with me!!!! and i cant wait to see your face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yum. youre too cool for school now!!!!! ;)
