i made it, im back!
the moment i got off the plane i felt a relief and a calm that was missing for some time. we spent one night in Kolkata because the monsoon season is here with full force. the four hour drive back to Mayapur its treacherous enough and with rain and potholes, well, i dont even want to picture it. we left a day later and made it home after 6 hours instead of the usual 4. the main road in front of our house is slowly being swallowed by mother Ganga and flood warnings are in abundance. im not worried though... the weather is humid and hot but not enough to make me uncomfortable. its good to be back in my own bed.
